Choice of Paper
This is the third and final image in my Cheetah series and part of my endeavors in nature photography. Like the other images in the series, I have chosen Hahnemühle FineArt Pearl (285 g/m²) for the paper. It has a unique pearly and shiny coating which allows for incredible contrasts and an amazing depth of the prints. The coating also makes the paper water resistant. The print comes with a passepartout – white border – of 1cm (0.4 inches).
Please note that the print comes without a frame. The picture with the frame just serves illustration purposes. However, if you want to order it with a frame, please contact me.
While the first two pictures show cheetah cubs, this one shows adolescent animals. As a nature photographer, Cheetahs are my favorite animals. They are the world’s fastest land animals and can go from 0 to 100 km/h (0 – 60 mph) – being faster than a Ferrari California 30. Subsequently, their hunting style greatly differs from other big cats such as tigers. Cheetahs simply don’t run after their prey. They wait for the perfect moment and start chasing them from a couple of hundred feet away as they can cover that distance in no time.
